Q: How much does it cost for my organization to sign up with uBack? There is no cost to join our platform. This is a free service to all 501c3 organizations. Q: What processing fees apply to donations made through uBack? uBack is committed to ensuring nonprofits receive as much funding as possible to support their mission. Therefore, uBack keeps processing fees low: 2.9% credit card processing fee + 1% per donation.  Q: Does our organization need to cover the transaction fee? Our app gives donors the option to cover the transaction fee, so that the full donation amount goes to the nonprofit. 97% of our donors choose to cover this fee. If the donor opts out, the amount will be deducted from the check that we send you so there is no additional cost to your organization. Q: Will I have access to donor information? Yes, you will be given administrative rights to view all your donation activity through a custom online portal. Reporting options will provide detailed information about your donations, as well as your donors. Q: Can I promote a specific fundraising drive or event? Yes, you can create a custom campaign within your instance and accept donations for a specific drive or event. The information will be detailed in your reporting. You can also use uBack for live events, and our team can work with your organization to make it a success. Q: Can my organization process membership dues through the app? Yes, simply set up a custom campaign in the app to collect membership dues. We are happy to walk you through the process. Just email us at nonprofit@ubackforgood.com. Q: How does my organization receive donations once they've been made? uBack processes donations monthly if activity has taken place over the platform. We will either send you a check, or you can set up a direct deposit account through Bank of America, our payment processing partner. You will receive a donation report with the details of who is making the donations.  Q: What does my organization do if we feel there is an error within the reporting? uBack is committed to data integrity. To highlight any reporting errors, please email support@ubackforgood.com Q: How can I sign up for uBack? We'd love to have you! You can sign up on our website. Or send an email to nonprofit@ubackforgood.com, and we'll get the process started right away.  Q: What happens after my organization signs up with uBack? Once we receive your information, our team will set you up within 24 hours. We will also email you materials you can use to inform your donors about uBack and maximize your partnership with us. We are also happy to schedule a call with your organization to guide you through the onboarding process.  Q: I did not receive an account confirmation email. What should I do? We are so sorry for the inconvenience! If you did not receive a confirmation email within 24 hours of signing up, please email support@ubackforgood.com Q: My organization is affiliated with a national organization. How can I ensure donations are received by my chapter? uBack delivers checks to the address you provide during sign up so not to worry. Your donations will go directly to you.  Q: How can my organization update information displayed for my nonprofit? To change the information displayed for your organization, log into your profile via the Log In button on the Nonprofit page Q: Does my nonprofit need to be a registered 501c3 to be able to sign up with uBack? Yes. uBack is set up to support only tax- exempt organizations. You need to have received your IRS determination letter before signing up with uBack. We will ask for a copy of it during the application process.  Q: What does my organization do if our tax-exempt status changes? If you are notified of a change in tax-exempt status (i.e. your tax exemption is revoked), please send a note to uBack within 10 days of receiving that notice. uBack will ensure all funds donated to you up until the date of any revocation of tax-exempt status (as indicated by the IRS) will be paid and then remove you from the app. Donations received by uBack after the date of any revocation will be returned to the donors.  Q: How does my organization integrate our corporate sponsor into uBack? uBack welcomes the opportunity to work with your corporate sponsors. Please have them contact us at corporate@ubackforgood.com to start the process. We will integrate them into your page within 48 hours and provide reports to your organization. Your corporate sponsor will also receive a report of who donated and which donations were matched so they can pay your organization the correct amount. We can also help your corporate sponsors expand their employee engagement and participation to amplify their philanthropic contributions.  Q: What if my organization feels that we should be aligned to multiple cause categories? We are glad to help. Please email support@ubackforgood.com, and we can answer any inquiries pertaining to how your organization aligns to uBack's "cause" categories.
